The power of texture

I have always been drawn to the textures in my artworks, as they bring life and drama to each piece. Textures add depth and dimension, inviting viewers to explore the surface and engage with the work on a tactile level. To enhance this aspect of my painting, I constantly experiment with new techniques for applying oil to canvas, seeking fresh ways to create intriguing surfaces.

Recently, I made some adjustments to one of my paintings, and I’m pleased to say it is now finished. I removed the writing from the top, allowing the visual elements to take center stage. By adding more color and definition, I aimed to elevate the overall impact of the piece.

This process of refinement has reinforced my belief in the importance of texture and color in conveying emotions and narratives within my work. I’m excited to continue exploring new techniques and pushing the boundaries of my artistic expression as I develop my unique voice in abstract art.
