September reflections

September reflections

September proved to be a pivotal month in my artistic journey, marked by significant milestones and fresh opportunities. As I prepared for my upcoming exhibition at the art fair in London, I felt a mix of anticipation and excitement for the chance to share my work with a broader audience. I push myself to work really hard, trying to spend at least 8 hours a day in the studio. I guess there is no other way to achieve great results apart from hard working and honestly contributing as much time as possible.

In addition to my exhibition preparations, I faced the challenge of securing a new studio space. After much deliberation, I finally signed the papers for a studio that perfectly aligns with my creative vision. Although it took time to find the right fit, I am thrilled with the outcome. This space is exactly how I imagined it, and I believe it will be instrumental in nurturing my creative process.

With these developments in my career, I am filled with a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm. The combination of preparing for the exhibition and settling into my new studio is invigorating, and I look forward to exploring new ideas and pushing the boundaries of my artistic practice. As I embark on this exciting chapter, I am eager to see where this journey will lead me in the world of art.

The painting above took me hours and hours of work. It's in a range of colours that I would usually go for, but still it is very different. Finally it's finished, it's an achievement of the month. It feels less personal to me, it feels more like a broader perception than very personal one. Very electric colours, very 80's vibe I would say and I love the 80's. I still prefer to work with softer colours and movements.
