Navigating emotions through art

Navigating emotions through art

Recently, I created a painting during a time of significant emotional turmoil, resulting in a piece that is both highly expressive and somewhat unusual for my typical style. The raw energy and intensity of the emotions I was experiencing are evident in this work, allowing me to explore new creative avenues.

While I plan to refine certain aspects of the painting, I genuinely appreciate its current state. It captures a moment of vulnerability and authenticity that I find deeply resonant. This experience has encouraged me to embrace the complexities of my emotions in my art, pushing me to explore uncharted territories in my creative expression.

It's very expressive. I will say again that I like how different it is. It gives me a lot of inspiration and opens doors for me. I'm very intrigued by this direction. I think I can learn a lot about myself and it makes me very happy but also sad that I have to feel that much emotions to create something like this. I like to feel but I don't like feelings to destroy me. While painting this I was very very emotional. It's hard to process. I think closeups of this artwork can say more than I can...
